I am currently in 9th grade, but I’ve been thinking a lot lately about college!!! I really want to study biochemistry or biological chemistry in other words. These are my top 5 but I don’t know what to pick!I want you to determine which is prettier, safer, academically better, and funner! I believe biochemistry is in the medical.

All of them you listed are good. Each one is good in it’s own way. For example, MIT is better in of course technology area, and so on.

Biochemistry is in the science department; if you want to go to med school, you’d apply to that after you get a 4-year college degree. Any of those schools would be great for biochem, so just apply to them all – your chances of getting into any of them are about 10% or less, so your chances of getting into two and having to make a decision are less than 1%, and chances of getting into all 5 are 0.0001%.

MIT… but Ive heard its not very fun, because most people who go there are complete geeks.

Theyre all good, but Harvard would probably be more fun and pretty.

Stanford, Yale, and Princeton would probably be safer.

P.S….. I suggest you learn that “funner” isnt a word before you submit your admissions essay!!!!!! This being said, your chances of getting into any of them are slim to none. Do you know anything about these schools?? Or just that they are the Ivy Leagues, and most expensive in the US?? Not only do you need to be smart, you need to be rich! Look into your state schools, that would be the most wise choice!

Nancy, if you get into any of those schools, you are set. If they offer you scholarships, go to the one that will give you the most money. All of them are great. Get very good grades and be active in the community if you plan on attending these schools. These are the top schools in the country.
