Is it accredited by the agency that does accreditations for Nuclear Med/Medical Imaging? I’m sure the “program” states it is accredited, but for all you know, it could be “accredited” by some “board of online schools”.

Call you local hospitals and see if they have hired anyone with a degree from that online school…..for Nuclear Medicine. That should tell you right there if it’s a good idea or not.

    Hi,

It is possible to get Nuclear Medicine Tech Degree online if the local colleges don’t offer them. If it’s your interest then I suggest you to go for it as interest drives it along and keeps you motivated to do better in that. If you’ve other things in mind, then you can just weigh pros and cons of both and then decide what you really want to do. You need to take decision yourself but take time to decide so that it turns out the best for you.

Nowadays, online courses/degrees are in trend. Mostly, people having busy schedules or if the courses are locally not available, opt to go for online. It is worth it. But you need to make sure that it’s legitimate and accredited.

    Good luck!!

I don’t think that you will get any online college that offers degree in Nuclear Medicine. Even if you find one that offer this course double check whether it is accredited or not. Even it is accredited then check it accreditation is from a reputed organization.
