I would highly recommend that you go to a Community College for Computer Science – you’ll be in an onsite computer lab with helpful instructors there with you – you won’t need to talk to someone at a call-centre if you don’t understand something. Plus, you can get an Associates in CompSci, get a job in the field, and then go part time to finish a Bachelor’s if you decide to go further.

There are a few universities that offer an online computer science degree, and even more that offer online computer information systems programs.

    Online Computer Science degrees:

    - Rasmussen College
    - University of Illinois

    Online Computer Information Systems

    - Post University
    - Ashford University
    - Kaplan University
    - Walden University
    - Upper Iowa University
    - Bellevue University
    - Regis University
    - Strayer University

    I hope that helps!
