Correspondence classes through online education, good for applying a good college?

By | October 6, 2015

Yea, i just enrolled HS this year (Freshman T_T)

and i am really interested at doing correspondence stuff

i personally think i m really smart and i can handle a lota work( no i m not socially challenged or anything)

I dont care about the classes are hard or anything

but i m trying to find out if you take a correspondence class, would it be a bad thing if i want to apply for a good college?

i mean if a college really want to see your work through a normal course (the normal thing you do with other kids in school).

i thought about this because i heard online courses or diplomas(no i m not getting an online diploma) dont have lot of crudencial.

Would taking correspondence affect me?

Online courses don’t generally have the same credibility as regular classes. This isn’t because you’re not interacting with other students. It has more to do with a perceived ease of cheating and courses being offered by for profit schools that give credit to anyone who will pay for the course.

If you just want to do it to take on extra challenges and learn new things, it certainly won’t hurt you as long as you do all your regular course work at school. The college never even needs to know.
