Can someone explain to me about the subject tests required for UC:Berkeley?

By | October 5, 2015

I just read that along with the SAT reasoning tests it is required to that you take subject tests. What is that about? It doesn’t specify which ones but says they are required, does that mean all of them? Or just the ones in the major you’re interested in? Also, it says the out of states admission policys are different [i'm out of state] but it doesnt specify how, can anyone clear this up for me?

well to be eligible to apply for a UC, you need to take two seperate tests, the sat 1 and the sat2 subject test. for the subjects test, you can take any two subjects you want, although some schools require that you take a certain test for a certain major ( a biology major might have to take math analysis for example). if it says the policies are different for out of state students then i would suggest checking on each individual schools website or the university of california home admissions page.
