Best course to get business degree?

By | August 12, 2015

I am a 43 year old that has just a year of junior college art classes back in the eighties. Now, I would like to go back to school for a business degree to help the restaurant that I would eventually like to open. In the past 25 years though, so much has changed, that I have no idea where to begin. Because I am in restaurant management already, I would like to do online classes. Any help?

It’s a great idea to brush up your business knowledge before starting an entrepreneurship. Like any other business, running a restaurant would also require you to have certain business and management skills and the best way to acquire these skills is through a relevant academic program. Why don’t you check the Business Administration degree offered by Stevens-Henager College? These degrees will provide you with the foundation in business which should eventually help you to start your own venture.

Restaurant/Hospitality Management courses usually have business courses embedded into the curriculum that deal directly with that industry. I would definitely start with any available programs at a community college, first. They are usually more economical, technical, and industry-specific.
